Darryl Robinson

“D-Rob” is the former AAA hitting coach for the Philadelphia Phillies and the Houston Astros. He coached with the organizations for a total of 14 years. Robinson won the California League Championship in 2012 and 2014.

In 2013, Robinson was named California League’s Coach of the Year, and enshrined into the Jet Hawks Hall of Fame. That same year the Jet Hawks led all of minor league baseball in runs scored, walks, on base percentage and OPS.

In a 2014 interview by Paul White of USA Today, Robinson was asked about leading the league in walks, “We’re not looking for walks, we’re looking to do damage.” He replied, “Walks are the by- product of getting a good pitch to hit. It’s all about being Selectively Aggressive.”

Robinson graduated from Whitney Young High School in Chicago, where he was named 1986 Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Illinois. That same year, Robinson’s own professional baseball career started when he was selected in the 2nd round of the major league draft by the Kansas City Royals. He played for the Royals organization from 1986-1993 and split time in the minor league systems with the Boston Red Sox (1995) and the Chicago Cubs (1998).

Dr. Claire Wheatley

I was born and raised in Hutchinson, MN and have now settled in Waconia, MN with my husband Joe, daughter Maddison, and dog Jackson. I attended Augsburg College for my undergraduate degree where I obtained by Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and participated in 4 years of women’s collegiate hockey. I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota – Go Gophers!

My treatment style includes manual therapy and dry needling techniques paired with progressive exercises to promote carry-over and long-lasting results. Education is also a large piece of my care style, ensuring that the patient has an understanding of what is going on and the plan for improvement. For example, addressing the cause of the symptom, not just the symptom itself. I enjoy working with all ages and activity levels with the primary focus being personalized care and YOUR individualized goals. My goal is to make a positive impact not only on your movement and activity through our time spent together, but your life as a whole. I also incorporate holism into my style of care, with emphasis on various aspects (sleep, diet, stress, mental and emotional health) and their impact on how you move and feel.

I am happily married to a Hutchinson native, we recently welcomed our first child and have a dog who we love to spoil and spend time outdoors. I enjoy spending time with my family and the beauty of nature whether it be on a mountain bike trail, dirtbike track, hockey rink or camping.
